Ancient Bristlecone Pines in a hidden location in Colorado. I hiked up this lonely talus slope solo one day to be the first to locate and tag these ancient trees with a GPS. The oldest was 2,500 years old (500 B.C.) Since the advent of GPS technology, no Forest Service Employees or University Professors had yet visited these trees. My data was added to the official file.
