The Life and Times of Ken Aldrich

Welcome to my photo gallery

After going back to school for a year and studying forestry, I decided that I needed to get a forestry related job that summer. I was lucky enough to get a job working for the US Forest Service in the Mountains of Northern Idaho. That summer I stayed at a work camp in the Pierce District of the Clearwater National Forest. We were really out there in the middle of nowhere. I loved it and I learned that summer that I was going to get a job out West when I graduate. I learned how to classify, measure, and defect timber for sale. It was a wonderful experience. I'm not eloquent enough to describe everything verbally. I hope these pictures can give you an indication of what I experienced.
